The neighborhood

Culture, coffee, and a working waterfront.

Downtown St. Petersburg is a walkable city. Art museums, a working marina, breweries and dining rooms lining Central Avenue, and a waterfront pier that has become a destination in its own right. Coffee shops on every block. Galleries around every corner.

Stay downtown when the visit is about culture and food as much as sand. The Dali, the MFA, the James, and a rotating calendar of festivals anchor the neighborhood, while some of Florida’s best restaurants have set up here for the last ten years. Downtown offers a different mood: restaurant tables, gallery walks, and a working marina.

Kelly and Josh work downtown often — brokerage clients, listings, buyer showings. If you’re staying here, we can point you toward the coffee we drink, the spots we take out-of-town friends, and the corners of Central Avenue worth walking.

A short list — not a directory. These are places we return to, and the ones we mention when guests ask for a recommendation.
