Where Pink Chair started.

Pass-a-Grille is small on purpose — the southern tip of the barrier island, one main street called Eighth Avenue, cottages painted in pastels, and a walkable historic district that the National Register recognizes for good reason. Locals wave from porches. Guests learn everyone’s dogs by name.

Just north, St. Pete Beach opens up wide — one of the top-rated beaches in the country, broad and family-easy, resort hotels alongside walkable cafés. Together the two neighborhoods cover both moods: quiet and lively, side by side, three miles apart.

Kelly, Josh, and the Pink Chair team live here. It’s where the company started and where most of our homes still live. If you want to know the tides, the sunset schedule, or where to grab coffee at seven in the morning — this is our home turf.

The Hurricane Seafood Restaurant

The rooftop is the sunset seat in Pass-a-Grille. Grouper sandwich downstairs, cocktail upstairs, and a wait we’ve never minded. Come early.

Pass-a-Grille Historic District

Twelve blocks of pastel cottages, one active fishing pier, and a walkable district on the National Register. Go slow — every porch has a story.

Paradise Grille

Toes-in-sand lunch with a paper menu and the best cheeseburger in miles. There is no better place to spend a Tuesday.

Shell Key Preserve

A protected island a quick ferry ride from the pier — undeveloped, shell-strewn, and empty in a way Florida rarely is anymore. Bring water, a hat, and stay for hours.

The Don CeSar

The pink palace. A 1928 landmark you can’t miss driving into St. Pete Beach — worth stopping into the lobby for a coffee and a look around.

Merry Pier

Fishing, boat rentals, an ice-cream window, and the working heart of Pass-a-Grille. Grab a rod, catch nothing, watch a pelican do better.
